Forgot about this one for a long while, then it starts showing up in my updates tab, and while I recognised the cover, I couldn’t remember anything. Had time today, so I thought I’d start the reread… Oh, some of these chapters are quite short, maybe a few more… You know what, I’m this deep in, might as well just binge the whole thing. Now I’m here.

Overall, I’m satisfied with how their relationship played out and where it is going. Their problems and insecurities were mostly just the result of their environment and circumstances, as well as a lack of a support system. Having a fresh start away from their small town and familiar faces, where they don’t have to hide their relationship, and form new friendships where they start off saying, “this is who I am”, will be good for both of them.

On a more immediate note, third time’s the charm. 😏
