Their backstory is really sad. That girl is so kind hearted to be able to stay after that. He literally pounced on her and tore a chunk out of her skin yet she still loves him. It's beyond my comprehension. Maybe it's just her fear of being alone is what makes her stay.

It still makes some sense, all of her family died and had nobody till Nishiki introduced himself to her. Nishiki was the best thing to happen to her after the family accident and he could’ve easily ate her whenever he wanted. So I think in her mind he as well fell into compassion cause he also had a tough life
