...based off a game? I suppose I should at least look it up. Manga is interesting as one shots go, I suppose. I'm immediately reminded of Bullet the Pomeranian from Ghost Trick.

Surprised the game was enough to warrant a Manga, but I think it turned out pretty alright as one even though it's just a oneshot.
Game was nothing special but it had a neat concept, had an average story, and you go around as an animal eating other animals and it goes from there.
If you can pick up the game cheap for the ps3 then go for it.

Never heard of this mangaka before so they're probably a no-name hired by Sony, art is pretty good.

No real explanation given to us except that humans went extinct, and animals feed off of each other in the "Tokyo Jungle", aka, the streets.
Animals evolved, developed territory, and food is running out so they go after each other.

@ReaderOfKengan It did get explained though, and it's pretty wild. I may be forgetting a few specifics but this is the gist of it.
200 years in the future there's a catastrophic event that'll wipe out humanity. So they start sending messages back to the past so they'll build a time machine they can travel to and save themselves. However because of how it works, unknown to the people making it, in order to transport future humanity to the past the humans of the past will be transported to the future where they'll be wiped out instead. Testing the machine caused animals to go feral from the electromagnetic discharge and some people get swapped with dinosaurs. So something goes wrong with the transportation which leaves no humans on Earth while the future humanity are stuck in the future waiting for someone in the past to activate the time machine.
