I really like where this is going. Kino has the capacity to understand that she's stupidly powerful, at least, and her desire for a normal high school life should present an interesting wrinkle since no.99 is still hunting for her, and she'll undoubtedly still accidentally screw up and slaughter some Stranger and risk being found out.
But, the dynamic of all of this compelling, and the comedic elements are great interspersed with the action and (slightly) dramatic moments.

Thanks for the chapter - this title's quickly becoming a favorite to me.

I really like where this is going. Thank you for the kind comment! We feel the same way, definitely a lot of potential and there hasn't been a Manga in a while that made me laugh as much as Tokyo Kinoko has. So we really are doing our best to give it all the love and attention to detail we think it deserves.

Make you question who her grandpa is. The monster appears 25 years ago, and they all live in Gunma all this time. Did that mean her grandpa someone famous or like her, he doesn't check the ranking and appear as UNKNOWN too. If so, what ranking?

Grandpa is passed, I think. But I suspect the gist is that Kino is the new #1, but he was the old #1 (or, if he passed pre-ranking, would have been.)

Yeah, we can see from this chapter and chapter 2 that grandpa already passed. Still, if he #1 while alive is that mean #1 and #2 are UNKNOWN at some point or #1 UNKNOWN disappear for some time only for her to take its place.

Which means that most of the most powerful people are currently anonymous.

But yes, if Grandpa was #1, then his passing means he's no longer counted, and whoever was next in line would bump up the list, at least in terms of how I'd make the system work.
