That damn Keira using children to harvest highly illegal tea leaves.

Damn it, Kiera. Why did you enslave a bunch of children just to harvest some tea leaves as a side hustle?! This plotline is so stupid, unless the tea leaves had healing effects or something (which hasn't been explained so far).

Damn it, Kiera! Why are you taking a whole unit of soldiers on top of a rooftop in the middle of the city in broad daylight? There sure aren't thousands of CCTV cameras around this highly-urbanized city that could potentially provide more evidence for 'being out of line' when you shout to the streets that you are holding the wealthy family you've just kidnapped as hostages to the people down in the street which can apparently hear you! Surely, no video evidence would be left of a U.S. General shouting that they are holding affluent U.S. citizens as hostages and ransoming them to their family? That would shake the entire country down to the core. The plot makes absolutely zero sense so far.

The relic that was creating those tea leaves belonged to a god which had people chew on those leaves to heal poisons.
So it makes sense it's a medical relic
