Thanks for picking up Yukio Yuki's manga, her works are always so wholesome and adorable so it's great to see another work being translated.

That being said, and forgive me for being blunt, but it's really hard to read it as the translation is just horrendous. Some sentences don't make much sense and the grammar is a hit and miss(miss in most cases). It ends up just being distracting and instead of enjoying I have to force myself to ignore most mistakes and try to make sense of what is actually being said which kind of ruins the reading experience.

Now obviously every reader here is in no position to simply criticize it, seeing as you're doing everything on your own and without any form of compensation so we should be just be happy about the fact that someone's decided to get it done, so if you want some help I can at least do some proofreading to see if it would somewhat improve the end result.

i've never understood this mentality. just because someone shit out garbage for free doesn't make it not garbage nor does it make it above criticism. say for example i fed the new chapter of sasakoi into chatgpt and uploaded that completely unedited, would you then be required to be happy about that?

If you'd read my comment thoroughly, you'd notice that I said "simply criticize", meaning that people shouldn't just say stuff like: It's garbage; You've wasted everyone's time; Why bother doing it in the first place if it's rubbish; etc.

If you want to provide criticism for someone's voluntary work, how about you do it constructively? Point out the errors you've noticed or how the job can be done better by giving tips, instead of just throwing plain insults.

also your translation isn't horrendous by any means. there weren't that many errors overall (and most were pronoun issues?). wayyyy better than MTL to be sure
