That was funny! So the "parasites" are controlled via radio waves? The best part is that she goes exactly where the "researcher" wanted to take her, and even worse, she goes to a police station (never trust the government! and if they are not involved, how will she prove anything?lol)! So the guy with the glasses is involved with these "researchers", but in a different way? Nice~

So it only effects the people living in the town. That means that its probably an issue with the people that see things as normal rather than some intrinsic effect of the monsters.

Is the setting North Japan or Hokkaido? The town feels more like theyre in a mountain area but Hokkaido a bit more flat with plains, kinda confusing!

Informed consent is a pretty important part of scientific literacy. I guess she skipped that part of scientist school.
