I seriously don't understand why people are emotional over spending useless amounts of extra money on a Brand Name. A fake Les Paul is dirt cheap, sounds literally the exact same, and the only difference is what? A few extra 1000 bucks? For what? Cred?

I don't get it, what does a brand name mean to anyone? It's like kids and Nike Shoes, you just look stupid. Get a 250 buck Chibson, done. You get a guitar with NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE and you can still pay for your kids tuition. Problem solved for EVERYONE. But no, sacrifice the little money the family has for what?

One could relate this to the japanese tradition of honouring greater quality and all that, though that might be a longer discussion... Since it also happens all over the world anyway (like you brought up with your point of kids and their "real" vs "fake" Nikes obsession)
I also could bring the topic that some products DO have a clear difference between cheap and more expensive ones, but that be way too anal from my part, nitpicking way too much on what you said: [Brands] not always = [Quality]

Tbh ...for series like this ...I can be content if the story will ended up only with 3/4 vol worth of story ...

As long mangaka can deliver quality storyline ...

Because so many mangaka ended up making stupid and unnecessary plot to drag on story progress ...
