Is anything gonna happen with the fact that the FL is supernaturally exactly the same as a manga character or was that just a way to get the ball rolling for a regular romcom? I’m not complaining, it’s just a bit strange.

I feel like it was implied in an earlier chapter that it's not supernatural, but rather that she just has a passing resemblance, but styles herself like the character subconsciously after reading the first chapter when she was younger, and then repressing it due to the trauma from her parents throwing it out.

I read the latest chapter of Kurokawa-san with the express interest in being supplied with as many silly faces as possible. I am delievered said silly faces and leave highly satisfied.

Very rare occurrence where the obnoxious didn't go too far in meddling with the mains and isn't nosy and narcissistic 24/7 but actually able to change and add something to the series.

I just am somewhat lost on what his role is and using most of a chapter on him felt somewhat futile. Introduced in endgame, pretty much a stranger to the cast still and can't really see him existing for anything but this chapter (even if it was a good one).

Unless I'm misremembering he's the only member of their class that we know of who has seen "off" mode Kurokawa so I feel like he's probably gonna play the supporting role for them while they're at school since their other wingman can't be with them in the classroom. His social reputation seems pretty normal too so he'll also probably come in for the assist with dispelling the perfect Kurokawa worship routine the class has going on, since Kurokawa and Takahashi are both kinda outsiders to the rest of the class in their own ways they don't really have the social skills to tackle that without help.

The whole manga thing has been sidelined for a while now, like the author dropped that plot completely. But I mean instead what we have is really wholesome and progress so I don’t mind it.

I think overall the FL looking like that manga character was just a funny coincidence to make them start talking.

Nah, I still maintain the belief that she looks like the protagonist because she looks like her mum, her dad was the writer of the manga originally, and he threw it away because he, like all artists, looks at anything they’ve made and just sees it as fucking cringe.
