Making a wish on behalf of another without expecting anything in return, that's a really mature decision on Tasuku's part. He's really grown, I don't think the Tasuku from chapter 1 could've made that wish. It would certainly be either the pro NBA player one or the "Don't go to Tokyo" one.

If he wanted to make a wish relating to his relationship with Shia, it should have been 'let us stay together, somehow'. Not 'Don't go to Tokyo'. But I'm certainly not disappointed with the completely selfless one for the one he loves that he actually did make here.

I do like that he's already thought about the idea of going with her, though. I feel like he should let his parents know this interest in going to Tokyo for high school- maybe they could make it work out for him that he could get a school near her university. He talks about saving up on his own, but he doesn't have to do it all on his own when he has a family that can help.
