The author AI has a problem with showing characters as 100% good or 100% bad. There seems to be very little grey area in his story, case in point how the mother was 100% scowls before they reached the target than happy and smiling after it.

Maybe I'm too America-pilled, but I feel like half the people in this chapter would have been arrested by airport security. I mean probably not actually getting charged with a crime but a public crashout leading to an impromptu concert (on conveniently placed musical equipment that no one was using I guess) is gonna raise some eyebrows, and not in the "oh I'll subscribe to their channel" way

It seems like she's just an average paranoid mother who's actually concerned about her daughter's future. She's a good mom but her being pushy is kinda overshadowing that part.

She is certainly has that SE Asia mom personality of forcing kids to do stuff, if it be studying, music, sports etc.

Seems like she mellow out, could she have been that magical 100k subscription

Hinomori's mother is SO untrustworthy. I am liking the story so far, but damn, she's so evil and stupid. She went and deceived her own daughter. She couldn't even wait ONE DAY to let the AGREED DEADLINE finish before booking a flight. She lost all reason and reality by ignoring the achievements her daughter did in TWO WEEKS WITH SINGING compared to YEARS OF PIANOING. Bitch this is why you're single.

I get that some of us are hoping that she wouldn't interfere with Tsunaguoto anymore, but with how her character is, I'm afraid this wouldn't be the last time we're gonna have issues with her. This feels a bit like convenient plot writing from the author as well, but I'll let that slide for now.
