By what it looked like they aren't necessarily only talking about the committee and looking how it's usually done in manga, committees have designated groups, without people needing to engage privately, so it did feel kinda weird how much interest he's showing in her (the rando), when she was almost more of the loner type so far

But yeah, guess what someone else responded before makes probably the most sense, that she just doesnt love mc yet, despite everything that happened like such stories like to do 😐

I 100% agree but you just can't read too much into it. This is like almost any romance manga ever- she isn't actually truly in love with him until ~THAT~ magical moment where she realizes. Yes, even after everything that happened.

At this point he is just a friend she likes to spend time with, the rando this chapter factually is just as close to her as he is. Engaging with MC outside of school hasn't even crossed her mind.
Getting super close to guys offscreen and some innocent flirts are a staple. Would recommend just trying to learn and enjoy it.

She is indeed very much down bad for MC…it isn’t even a real question. Just last chapter they BOTH jumped with joy…and a few chapters before that he caught her jumping for joy over something he did. Ain’t no freaking way she isnt down bad for MC.

MC really is just in his own head at this point over the whole thing. Sure she has some other guy’s contact info, but it doesn’t actually mean anything. That panel of the conversation was just what he THINKS is happening, but I bet nothing is happening at all with that other guy.

Did someone on the team just recently learn the word "cunt"? There have been two instances of it in the last three chapters that didn't suit the original Japanese, the characters, or the context. Even in British-English, which uses it far more casually than American-English, this usage wasn't quite the right flavour for how he usually talks (though far less egregious than when it referred to Eguchi). Still, this is worlds better than the gross all-chav-all-the-time translations a certain other group subjected a slough of shoujo works to. Thanks for all your hard work!
