There have been hints, often it hinges on a lewd event done for non-lewd reasons. Like when she was scared so he took off his underwear to distract her. Or how much he seems to love there photos they took together. Things like that that cement that, yeah they’re horny as fuck for eachother but they also LIKE eachother as people. I know that "pantsu" is the loanword for underwear in Japan (though I thought it just referred to women's panties) here it becomes awkward because "pants" in English is almost never used to refer to underwear instead of trousers/slacks/jeans/below-the-knee or full length leg coverings.
