Living and dying on whims and bad impressions and not really thinking about anything does indeed seem like a streamers MO.
Also, I genuinely have no idea where the plot of this series wants to go. By which I mean I think I have a general idea of what they're trying to build up to, but the only outcomes I can see to that endgame are a tragic ending no one likes, the entire thing ending up as a forgotten non-issue, or the cliched "heroine leaves/gets taken and the protagonist desperately goes to get her back with the help of all their allies". I hope I end up being way off base on that prediction, because all of those possibilities seem pretty bad.

I really hope this does not have a tragic ending where she has to leave him. A ending where he finds out the truth about her past would be enough.
