Hayate needs to come in at the end to fight aliens with Nasa flying a space ship or something. Go for even more absurd heights and over the top story telling. :dogkek:

That's disturbing... well, let's hope that humanity and Earth in general is not worth the effort of whatever it is that is planned.

Some people seem oddly surprised at this revelation? I thought that there had already been plenty of hints towards the sci-fi for Tsukasa's immortality origins rather than magical or divine.
Also the fact that this was a tucked away extra rather than the focus of a full chapter, at least at this stage, is appropriate as it is still a rom com overall and not a sci-fi mystery in focus. I feel if it got explained too much, either now or even later, it would lessen the feel of the background mystique to the detriment of the story as a whole.

Oh damn. We might be seeing space fights in the future. Nasa gonna need a giant robot to tackle the aliens.

It's Kaguya. Kaguya was the lost connection. The saboteur. The second and third images were supposed to be Kaguya's incubator, cut open by the titular Bamboo Cutter of the legend who became her father/grandfather. We only assume it was just a normal bamboo stalk, because that's what the legend told us, but it was all hearsay and rumors that Tsukasa heard about while she went about her apothecary business and dealt with her own sickness, and passed on to her writer friend, as highlighted at the start of Ch.204 that showed her talking with Michizane.

We just got some major exposition during the main chapters of the volume this extra came in about Kaguya's 'otherworldly' origins, after all. Her literally becoming the 'envoy' and all that while a bunch of cube ships descended on ancient Japan. We literally saw her destroy the armada of cube-ship things in Ch.205. The debris afterwards in that chapter looks a hell of a lot like what the second page of 4-koma shows.
