If the theories are true and she's actually very-very old, I'm rather surprised that she's never been married before - which definitely appears to be the case.
It's
because she's been alive for as long as she has that Tsukasa has avoided attachments for so long, I'm pretty sure. Especially the way I currently suspect she
became so long-lived, I feel like she was traumatized and terrified to grow close to people for the longest time, especially when they'd just die and leave her, eventually. Though it is apparent she didn't completely cut off other people, if Tokiko here is any indication. But she still kept people at a distance, generally, until Nasa.
I still think at some point shes going to get taken back to the moon and Nasa is going to use his brains to build a rocket there and use his skill with words and persuasion to get her back. He already said he wouldn't give up getting her back at the end of ... chapter 1? Although he didn't know she was Kaguya, it still means its very likely she gets taken back to the moon at some point.
Still amusing to me people kept thinking she's Kaguya at this stage of the story, when the better answer is that she's just someone that ended up given the immortality elixir from near the end of the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter that Kaguya-hime was featured in. It just works so much better with all of the details revealed up to this volume, especially from the Q&As at the end of each volume, the Nara sight-seeing chapter (30), and the chapter splash art showing Tsukasa traveling the world throughout the ages.
Also, Tokiko! Lovely to see her. Loved her in the anime. She's amazing.
