this manga is too heavy for a boring story
the actual romance and flirting is the good part
but Hata seems lost in his on myth, trying to make it deep
it falls flat, it's been beaten to death by the Highlander series/movies
the concept is too weak to carry anything

I give this series a final 6/10

I remember binging the first 50 chapters when this manga was still fresh back in middle school and later forgot about it. Now years later the algorithm randomly showed me the anime opening and I enjoyed it, so I checked on the manga, then BOOM! 300+ chapters and it's still ongoing. This type of quality romance series stretching beyond 100+ chapters is a red flag for me, I wouldn't be surprised if the theme shifted to action shounen.
