Did it not finish processing? "A Gyaru and The Chairman at the Bathhouse" is already a half-finished product, but this is even more so. They not only cut mid-plotline, they cut mid-scene. I enjoy the gap premise in both, but the author really needs to work on actually delivering a story in his works.

A lot of oneshots serve as the seeds for serialized stories. I think ending the oneshot before the denouement motivates more readers to vote for it in the popularity polls (which increases the chance of serialization). From that standpoint it's really cunning smart.

IMO these story lines where the guy will (most likely) have to pay to keep seeing the girl and probably get jealous of another guy at her job will always be a little weird to me.

edit: checked out the one shot entry on the raw site and it truly does end there. it seems like it needs to get serialised for thr author to continue it, wow. what a cliffhanger ending 🥲
