While I don't disagree there's something of a quality disparity between the web comic chapters and chapter 1, I think it ultimately just stems from the first chapter essentially being a complete one-shot. A one-shot is always going to feel narratively tighter than a 5 page per chapter manga that is largely gags. The formats are just completely different.Honestly man.... This manga feels like it's a cheap copy of the award winning chap. The character here kinda sloppy compared to the first chapter. The web comic coloring style is weird, the lack of effects and emphasis. But i still like the concept, and who am i to say when im reading this in a pirated site.
Shout out to last minute no frills guys. This manga is a good pick up. Keep it up!!!
I'm going to scream with you too they're so cuteTHEY'RE SO CUTE AAAAAAAAAAAAA
I don't like the gag expression they use for comedic effect. I know it's a romcom, but this is not a doraemon so, the author should give us the "kyun" Kind of comedy, not a "kek" Kind. While I don't disagree there's something of a quality disparity between the web comic chapters and chapter 1, I think it ultimately just stems from the first chapter essentially being a complete one-shot. Taken for what it is (a 5 page gag romcom), though, I quite like these chapters. They're pretty packed with visual gags, the characters are quite animated and lively and the two leads have a lot of chemistry which has been preserved from the one-shot. Could this manga be better if each chapter was more pages? Maybe, but I think it's pretty decent as is.
Thanks for the chapters as always Osis!
