From the emotional rabbit gang arc to this concession of a finale, it's a big gut punch. One of the perils of basing your power system and overall narrative on a hard numbered mythological iconography is that your story can be abruptly ended before even half of them are shown.

Yeah, I don't think I would be as dissapointed if the last arc was the finale (in a "and the adventure continues way") as it was pretty emotional and not this nothingburger arc.
