You know what the most hilarious thing about this is?
That asshole knows of youkai, with youkai comes the existence of the kami. There are some kami out there ( Inari in particular as the kami of industry and perhaps a few others that are a little more obscure who deal with purity or purification ) that would take offense at the bs he is pulling.
So think about it from the Western ( Abrahamic ) Lens.
Let's say you just managed to summon and control a demon, then you make that demon give you everything you think you deserve, stepping all over others in the process, without realizing that if demons exist, that should mean that angels exist too...which then further leads to the Big G-man Himself.
THIS is what this dude is doing, but worse because depending on the youkai, he might actually be corrupting that Youkai by continually feeding it negative emotions, or vice versa with him becoming a nest for that youkai. Buddy is not only screwed ( sooner or later, that youkai will harm him in some way ) in this life, but his afterlife might be just as bad depending.
