It may be her mother's blade, but Kogane being trained by her dad is sure to be a big deal. The village is waiting for him to name a successor, and while he might not put any pressure on Kogane, I doubt the villagers will restrain themselves. Goro is already planning for the future with Kogane as a matter of habit, even though he will one day have to face his fear of his loving fox wife.
