It's funny how much the clergy here has yet to reconsider their attitudes, dealing with someone who can talk to the gods directly (even before the divine upgrade).

These clerics seem to suffer from severe brain damage. It irritates me when the antagonists in a manga are written to be so absolutely, mind-bogglingly stupid... I mean, there really are people that stupid in the real world so it's not like it's unrealistic, but I wouldn't really want to read a manga featuring moronic Sovereign Citizen activists either

i must correct you on someting. did you forget the head priestess is a woman. did you forget she is still being stupid. did you forget she isn't trustworthy or rational. i won't deny the stupidity of the characters in this but if you are going to call out the stupidity of the characters be sure to call them ALL out man and woman alike.
