Oh, the title of this chapter sorta explains what happened with Amaterasu last chapter. I was wondering why she had fox ears, but turns out those are WOLF ears. This chapter's title is a reference to the manga/anime and game Jinki: Extend. Amaterasu's wolf-ears are referencing the old Clover Studio Ookami, which uses the homophonic pun of ookami meaning both great god and wolf to depict Amaterasu as a divine wolf.

Unfortunately, nowadays, most kami aren't worshipped anymore, except the major ones. You can see shrines for the minor kami got abandoned all over Japan. It is due to Japanese shifting to Buddhism in Heian period. Another reason is Japan's decreasing population and young people leaving the countryside where most minor kami were worshipped leading to no one maintains the tradition. It is sad since Shinto is really interesting.
