7/10.

Cool designs, characters are okay, plot is fine. The comedy is pretty good but it's been pretty sparse since the focus has been on explaining the backstory. As far as 3 chapter rule is concerned it's above average when it comes to these type of stories. Depending on how they do the school setting this can be a pretty damn good manga and I hope it is because god damn the Oni designs are bad ass

third chapter checkpoint! woohoo.
so far, this is a 6/10 for me. the artstyle is good, it reminds me of bnha actually, mc-kun is also kind of alike to bakugou. the plot is fine, but i felt that it was a bit too rushed with the dad dying. could've been extended to a few more chapters, just forming a small emotional bond between reader and mc-kun along with his dad before he died. would be nice to also get a little more backstory for mc-kun. overall i think it could've been paced better as i was getting caught off-guard so much lol
although the first three chapters don't have a positive lasting impression from me, i'll continue to read it and see if it gets better from now on :)

But like what sense does it make for him to know how to control powers he’s never seen or heard of before and not easily go into the beserk nature of those powers when he just unlocked them
