Yeah the characters & action in this chapter felt very stiff. I can't imagine that this was meant to be super exciting, but it felt kinda slow. I wish we had expanded that last arc a little more and focused on the other classmates. Learning more about them would have been nicer than this, I feel.

A matter of efficiency maybe? The dude seems able to levitate and puppet around the corpses by just stuffing them with bacteria, but for controlling large groups from far away, maybe just having the bacteria manipulate the brain somehow like the Cordyceps fungus is more efficient.
