outstanding evidence, look i've got nothing to prove for "someone" who thinks "ok and" is unironically funny
Let me break down my argument in a different manner, because it seems it’s being misinterpreted from my main point.
My argument is that Koishi wielding a knife is perfectly fine for her character because it seems natural and in-character that she could have one on her at any point in time.
I present the counterargument to my idea as the notion that Koishi wouldn’t wield one because it would depict her as something akin to a yandere or like her depiction in KKHTA—in other words, a fanon interpretation. As an aside, this notion is entirely my own—I may not have fully grasped the reasons why other people dislike her interpretation with a knife, but from what I’ve seen so far this is the current notion I’m getting.
My response to this is that her having a knife doesn’t have to depict her as a yandere or whatever “fanon” Koishi is. When I said “Ok, and?” my intent was to state that those notions were unimportant and that canon Koish can have a knife just because she could, and would. I do see how this can be seen as a rude dismissal of the counterargument so I hope this explanation is sufficient enough.
And when I talk about needing evidence for a counterclaim, I meant interacting with and countering my ideas and arguments with your own, not nitpicking on the surface-level words I say.
