If it was gonna be this short why did he make the timeskip just one year? they look like 10 years went by.

Anyway Durandal and Fynn were awesome.

It was done as a year timeskip because Rome overtakes the village in a year (chapter 1 ends at 88 AD showing that Fin and Durandal die fighting).

They stay in one place to defend the valley and village.

Idk if there is more story, but what happened to the minotaur and his brother hasn't been shown and that would have been years before the events happening now.

Based on the wiki, there is definitely more story, though this is the last chapter on Arthur & Elaine's arc.

Next arc will apparently cover a former roman soldier called Lucius Dias.
