I love how Yachiyo annoys people but nobody can really tell her no, lmao. And she KNOWS that she annoys people, she's so funny.

This chapter was great, I've always been interested in untranslatable words. And thank you of course to our lovely translator Tsama, I really appreciate the effort.

The way they all interpreted the word was interesting, but the most interesting is Yachiyo. We know she's depressed over her sister's death, but is she having suicidal ideation? (( Poor girl.

Incidentally I'm noticing that she's getting quite close with Shizuko (mystical voice lady).

I ship it. I hope the Ameishi ships it too.

But that aside, I think their relationship (whatever way it goes) is probably going to be good for Shizuko? She really does need someone who's pushy with her, her trauma prevents her from taking the initiative in her own life and apologising for everything. Even in this chapter she apologised for just stating how she interpreted a word.

Yachiyo is my favourite character so far, so I hope things go well for her, even if the overall tone of the story is very bittersweet.

How is this manga still peak 15 chapters in? This might be the only manga that can equal Houseki no Kuni in my heart
