Kidney 'stones' are made of plant oils. Just stop eating fries, chips, fast food, etc and you'll be good. Of course evacuating smaller stones faster with more water works, but that could deplete your electrolytes and lead to dehydration.
Just wanted to correct this a bit: it is not the plant oil used in fried foods that's specifically bad for kidney stones but the meat and salt. To name a few, your risk of kidney stones increases if your diet is disproportionally high in protein (meat), alcohol consumption, and salt—all leading to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance (type of electrolyte also dictates which crystals form as well). There many other factors, like genetic risk, that contribute to risk beyond one's lifestyle but eating healthy is generally a good idea all around.
Edit: Also, too much serum calcium is also bad—usually from meds or supplements, or secondary to other medical condition.
Problematic Scans took a month to translate CH 3 (understandable, tbh, they had only 2 people working on it) so we decided to pick up chapter 4. Problematic Scans hasn't dropped this, but we might collaborate with them going forward.
