Like I & many others predicted, they got 0 punishment even if Cross is the typical nice guy MC. I would've settled for all of them getting detention or extensive remedial classes (something that will acknowledged that they did something fucked up even if the intention was to "protect" him) but no point arguing over spilled milk. I can assume he's going to get new equipment in the future if the monster parts are used but we'll see. Thanks for the chapter.

she probably won't explain herself, especially this soon. Her kind is just that way.

I doubt they'd make an official announcement, but if they wanted to shut up the nobles too, all his masters would need to do is officially declare that Cross is their disciple, and is under their tutelage. With their rep, that should make people think how anyone would be crazy enough to train with them, or even how they survive.

Maybe, maybe not. Until the author declares it, I think we can chalk it up to embarassment for picking on him when his will and growth were actually leagues above hers, despite his zero stats, and that he did something she never could. Even when she kept beating him down, he kept getting back up, so now she saw the full extent of that will.
