The whole bathroom-assault thing was melo dramatic as all hell but these chapters after it makes it seem kind of worth it. Its refreshing to see a gender bender that actually shows swithcing genders is not all sunshine and rainbows, people will have alot of mental hurdles to go through .

Wait... those two d'bags sexually assault a girl and all that happens is they're expelled?! FFS this is the sort of shit I hate about manga, how they treat sex crimes so lightly.

That aside, this is a really interesting take on the whole gender change theme.

This manga is really crude when it wants to be, I had hope that those bastards could receive justice but it seems that it wasn't the case.

Interestingly they only dropped out, I am surprised they didn't take the case into the court because Raping and fighting in school that causes trauma + blood might force them in a Jail or Rehab for sure.

Is it because the manga was just fiction where there's no law applied or Japan has no law that protects underaged and punishes people who done rape even though it's underaged?
The parents of the 2 assholes should've been sued if not make a statement that their child won't cause any more issues or they'll get more punishment from it? Parenting 101.

I hope Yuka and MC ended up together though.

While it is true that most manga seems to downplay sexcrimes, I believe that it is something that stem from reality. Because irl, Japan law is fucking insane and tedious. There once was a case of a pedo raping and killing a 9 years old Vietnamese girl. The case was pressed by Vietnam to be proceed as fast as possible and that justice will be bought to light. But apparently there weren’t enough evidences (they found his fucking semen inside her dead body???) and some other stuffs that keep delaying it. Last I’ve heard, it is still in the appeal process (1/2020) even though this happened back in 3/2017.

Keep in mind that this is a rape assault, a murder of a 9 years old, a case that shook and enraged the Vietnamese so much that the foreign minister has to get involve and demand justice. And it still took them 3 whole years to finally reach a sentence.

Having to drop out of the school silently so that the school Image isn't damaged Sounds very possible if you ask me. Also they dropped out but continue being criminal scum. So sooner or later life gonna punish them more than just this anyway.

@genderbenderbb2 thanks again and until next chapter some day.

how they treat sex crimes so lightly

Isn't this the case with real life as well? Man rapes/kills woman, 90% of the time victim blaming comes into play and the woman is guilty for seducing or egging the man or some other bullshit.

As an example, there was this egregious case here in Italy, last year I think, where a man murdered a woman and the judge, a woman herself, gave him a light sentence because she claimed "emotional turmoil" (not kidding here, wish I were) made him act irrationally, as well as crude comments on how the woman was ugly so few would give a damn about her. That made it to the news and there was outrage, and the judge had to recant her verdict, but it still happened.

Also, as others have pointed out, it's a matter of school image. Expel the punks but do so quietly so the media do not catch wind of what happened (and even if they do, the school would deny it and sue the accusers of slander, faculty word wins over student word)

Exaxtly of my main concern if I had to live there.
It seemingly like a peaceful country where it's actually not.
It's been like brought multiple times throughout an article about bully in school which even lead to suicide of the victims and the student who bully didn't get sentenced with anything.

Japan probably should've deal with their social issues or something before people get crazy but that's not my problems.

I imagine that Vietnam crimes said to be I not enough evidence likely because they don't want to deal with foreigners.
