Must be Germany engineering

this just got 10 times more hype, i was stuck thinking like makoto there's no way it's electromagnets. the head honcho in the miracle squad must be a time traveller also

@Floirt Yeah, I think it would be weird if only specifically our protagonist was pulled back in time and something like that had never happened before

Nice trick.a bit forced but i'm ok with it. Also electricity huh? Does it mean someone else other then mc (from the church) got isekaied and using modern science as miracles?

There must be a genius inventor among the inquisitors' men. Or, there is someone else time-slipped from modern era.
Whichever it is, I want to see this fake miracle worker cry uncle.

@Malos it's actually quite easy to use: there is a magnet behind every wall, so by turning them on and off, you can control the direction of the magnetic field, making the knifes fly in any direction you want.

i think it's basic reasoning, tbh. if you got transported to a different time, as insane as it may seem, you'd eventually deduce that if it happened to you it could've happened to someone else. If the MC doesn't immediately come to this conclusion next ch., then he is being purposefully dumbed down, and that's shit writing.

Wait, I’d assume the electromagnets were some absolutely batshit insanely powerful stuff, and then they rotate and move weirdly also due to eddy currents and your typical magnetic weirdness with two electromagnets on either side and passing through the middle field to make the weird floating effect similar to copper and eddy currents?

Or it could be your typical and far simpler sibgle electromagnet set-up, and the knives are two-part knives, the front blade being iron and the back end being cloth/wood/titanium/non-magnetic to give the spinning effects shown previously.

Dang, though. That level of electromagnet in these times are the equivalent of USA building atomic bombs in WWII.

An electromagnet that can pull a knife midair, change direction WHILE keeping its momentum and speed, while not doing practically anything else to its surrounding.

Sir, that's not a trick, that's actual fucking black magic.
