trouble saving reader settings

I am having trouble with the manga reader. I'm on a Fire(HD) 7 tablet using Firefox 84.1 and Ublock turned off for Mangadex. Some manwha pages crash my browser so to "help" I change the setting to single page. Next chapter my reader goes back to all pages and I open the menu reader says it's on single but I have to push the single button again. https://mangadex.org/chapter/1130999 is an example of a manhua that reverts for me. I can't see any overall option to adjust and manga loads correctly as a single page. So any ideas.

Second, is there a forum search option I'm missing. If this is posted and resolved I have no way of knowing.

Single is global setting, but it will be overwritten if the chapters are in longstrip natively. No, you can't do anything to fix it.
