I might sound crazy for saying this, but I'm genuinely looking forward to see where this would go.

This can go a lot of different ways, and it feels like this could legitimately have some kind of potential for a good story.

Question the morality of the whole thing. Give more interesting personality to the side characters so the readers will actually care about them. Make the plans of the MC fail once in a while to create unexpected situations.

Of course, I could be hoping too much, and this is just supposed to be some slop the author puts puts to cater to cucks, or people who fantasize about having an affair.

What do you guys think? Could this kind of plot actually be interesting if done correctly?

this is just bad? I will never get how one can achieve pleasure through the destruction of another's life. I'm somewhat hoping for it to be a joke and for it to straight backfire on the mc but knowing japan it probably wont I guess ill keep reading till like chapter five but if it isn't I'm just gonna drop it no need to continue reading something I dont enjoy. Not so sure, a story like this with such an awful protagonist would be about them learning a lesson, karma involved for how horrible they where in a past life.

Then of course the characters around the protagonist have no personality, and I think that's due to the writers inability to tell a good story. This is the kind of set up for low quality Isekai's, lots of information thrown at us, poor dialogue and world building. Protagonist has known the male "love interest" for years and yet they still don't feel like an actual character.

No matter what way this goes, protagonist is punished, protagonist goes through and cucks the guy or protagonist falls in love and gives up on it. The quality looks poor.
