People always says they hate NTR mangas but they still read it. I have some few theories at to why.

It is like a horror movie, we like the thrill and emotional release they provide. People wants to see a glimmer of hope or a revenge for the cucked one so they keep reading, but I promise you it will never come and don't even think about it while reading this type of shits. There are way too many examples I can share to back this up but if you like to discover it yourself then go ahead.

Emotions and expressions will be heighten way more than an actual person would. This is a fantasy, so don't compare it to real life where people will react very differently if this type of shit happens. It is easy to identify a slut when they see one and it is unlikely to have emotional attachment towards them for long.

This seems more like a jab at NTR tropes than a NTR in itself. I can clearly see the author exploring and poking fun at the infinity of different NTR scenarios but ultimately never committing to the deed itself.

Of course this could change if interest at the series begins to die down and they feel like only extreme plot twists are necessary to bring people back.
