I feel so bad for Toba...?
I know it's gonna be aki x tsubasa but still I like toba too...

Toba is not that bad of a person.. He was really honest and straightforward with his feelings. He's not telling her to throw away her feelings for Aki but give a legitimate reason why she likes Aki and why she at least won't consider his feelings to her. Heck he even told her to think about it, not to rush it. His actions before weren't even that bad and I'd say he's a proper and good rival 
If you say Toba is bad, then I guess you haven't seen any other love triangle or I guess shoujo manga since they can be worse... much worse.. heck even the main guy can be shittier than Toba.. Toba isn't that much of a bad person and he gave a proper confession and did very normal and human things that didn't step over his boundaries (if he did, not by much anyways)
I'm glad how Toba acted, as well as Tsubasa's for not making him wait so long and while she couldn't give a proper reason (Just saying she loves Aki properly still doesn't sit right with him), she's outright rejecting him properly saying we can't be in a relationship and I'm sorry I don't have romantic feelings for you. I like this straightforward approach for both of them and how it took place in the same chapter. It's pretty refreshing considering how other shoujo mangas can't follow a straightforward approach formula and how they drag it on...
PS: I'm not surprised at this point that Aki is the only one who noticed how sick Tsubasa was.. if he can find out in the train of their 'first' meeting, then that makes no difference here
