While is droven to her house by Director Mitsuba, sleeping in his car.
Haruta arrives, spotting Mitsuba touching Ichika after he was trying to wake her up.
Meanwhile, Izumi who realized Haruta was lying about going somewhere, followed him and is currently eavesdropping the situation.

... Based on Mitsuba's attitude towards touching Ichika's living body, I really feel like he had a loved one who tried the prototype of the mechanical cells, and unfortunately died regardless, or from it.
Izumi also wonders if Haruta loves Ichika, or if it's something more, which he may soon find out.
