As the previous chapter explained, yet clearer on the side effects dubbed "bugs", even that can cause the children to be put into a research facility with their parent's memories erased.
In this case, one of the bugs Ichika is showing is fast healing, but they'll wait for more tests to ascertain that it's not just transient.
As for Izumi, based on noticing her healing, he's already deducing that she has fast healing since he clearly saw it, unlike Haruta who oddly denies it, (as Izumi noticed because he's a bad liar).
... Maybe Haruta out of the trio has better insight of this experiment from having learned something from his mother in the past.
As if he knows that she or they can heal fast. Maybe even of the fact that they could get sent to internment, which is why he overreacted to Izumi wanting to confirm her healing, and how he was worried when they were left alone when Ichika was putting bandages on Ichika before they headed to work.
