Strong chapter which got me emotional to the point of almost wanting to cry.
As Ichika wakes up, her mother quickly arrives after and hugs her, sobbing with regret of how she restricted her daughter's life of any movement that can pose a risk to injury and being found out, which influences her to demand Ichika to quit this job... but, her friends assure her they'll protect her, and so do their parents who arrive later, who comfort Ichika's mother.
Upon second thought, the mother changes her mind and allows Ichika to keep the job, but to stop wearing high heels... at least, until she's confident in them. Showing liberty to her daughter.
As expected, Haruta seems to know about their condition from the start based on his inner thoughts as this is happening. Interesting...
Although it's weird that he didn't show more urgency overall to protect their secret.
I guess his fear of blood and not fully knowing the details doesn't help.
