Kazuya's mom got 2 ultra OP power shards inside her(the 2 obi lolis). Government guy wanted one, Oriobana denied. So he wanted to steal crystal ball girl to see when the mama seal will come undone, probably to steal the power shards.

Sooo ... they think they can 'beat' her? I guess they might have some dirty tricks that they could pull. They ARE the GOVERNMENT after all. However, if they think they can beat her then why have the deal with the temple at all? Hubris is all good an well until you are face down and ass up, LOL.

nah, with how he is asking for help from the cursed allies, I think they are just relying on Kazuya to defeat mama and steal the shards after. They clearly don't have any offensive option for her here.
