Those quests are in hindsight pretty cruel, the exile set up the conditions for their failure in two ways. With the big one being this, him no longer being considered a true hero by the blade back then.
Now what? He knows, or has an idea about it.

This manga is fire, if it turns out to only be an ad for the LN or ends nowhere near the conclusion of the LN then I honestly lose all hope in Isekai adaptations.

Its enough to make a grown man cry. Peak chapter once again, learning the history, motivations, new-found motivations, and determination of Alexis is great to see. Hes a good dude, and I bet he'll be a damn good Hero too.
