I hate to break it to you, mate, but that ain't unique to Japanese culture; that's just middle management in general. With how often this happens, I'm starting to believe that it's common in Japanese culture to exploit people with skills superior to yourself, and then after tossing them aside like garbage all future problems you cause shall continue to be blamed on them instead of accepting your own incompetance.
Common in Japanese culture? Its pretty common in corporate world from where im from lmaoWith how often this happens, I'm starting to believe that it's common in Japanese culture to exploit people with skills superior to yourself, and then after tossing them aside like garbage all future problems you cause shall continue to be blamed on them instead of accepting your own incompetance.
We're talking about a country with an office culture so bad, that you can hire someone to be a stand-in for you to take a tongue lashing from a superior. Like how incompetent of a middle manager do you have to be, to not notice the person you've been chewing out for their shoddy work, isn't even an employee of yours? With how often this happens, I'm starting to believe that it's common in Japanese culture to exploit people with skills superior to yourself, and then after tossing them aside like garbage all future problems you cause shall continue to be blamed on them instead of accepting your own incompetance.
And no.... Even if you can pay the boss back in revenge, all that amount to just a funny story on Reddit like R/Maliciouscompilance or R/Nuclearrevenge if you want a terrible aftereffectsCommon in Japanese culture? Its pretty common in corporate world from where im from lmao
I've seen a middle manager taking credit for a project that was being handled by someone under them, it went tits up, then they throw the guy under the bus, that guy got fired, then got blamed for everything even after being fired.
And no, worker doesnt have that much power here where im from, all he can do was vent to social media and rally a bit of support, and im pretty sure they dont have the resources to sue the company.
This all happen to a guy in my company like 2 months ago lmao
Dunning-Kruger effect - the less competent you are, the more you overestimate yourself.Amazing how idiots convince themselves in the most absurd ways.
