Nah he'll 90% ask the monsters to stop killing next chapter or in 20 chapters, those mangas always start nice like that but inevitably turn to cliched past 20-30 chapters once the reader is kinda hooked in (not blaming the authors because i'm pretty sure most of the time it's publishers wanting to milk the stories for as long as possible)

I'm not much into psychopath mcs, like in Saga of Lioncourt(lasted until 3rd volume before I dropped it, hard) or in Oversummoned, at least not unless they have some reason for their actions(Raoul, RoH, etc). For now it's on Hold so I will at least remember to check it out once in a while, but if he starts slaughtering decent people nilly-willy I will definitely drop it at that time...

theres three ways they can take it, psychopath muder-nonhobo, naive life preserver, and dungeon defender, im hoping for the later which entails them not killing for the sake of it or for the sake of growing the dungeon, but for the sake of defending the people in the dungeon like humans he accepts as comrades and/or cute dungeon monsters and/or waifumons

My read is that if he had known what "making a contract" was and what the ramifications were he wouldn't have done it. Don't sign the document until you've read it...

Now he must "defeat" adventurers who invade. So far it looks like the dungeon needs to "collect life force" to turn into Dungeon Points which are necessary for defending, maintaining, and expanding the dungeon. It seems that this requires killing the adventurers, so if "decent people" invade he'll probably have to kill them. After all, he's now the Evil Boss that decent people fight against.

We don't even know if he can permanently leave the dungeon. He may be tied to it for life and die if it is defeated.

Yeah, he was "fired" from his job once and he could kill people without feeling remorse.
It should be at least something bad enough to make him give up his humanity.

this has always the weak part of the "got kicked out of hero party" theme, the hero party always seems to dump all the support job to one single person which was MC's job before so the new one completely screw up.
On that matter, the other members always completely trash at their job that the moment the MC left, they are no worth than a newbie adventures.
Even if the MC boost them, you would think they learned something during all the fight they have before
