Seem like Rick's potion could be so potent, it also increase user's Ego, and such too.
Allen went from Trashy Narcistic Person, into Even More Trash and Narcistic Person. Wouldn't be surprised if emotion, and desire like those are relate to power level in this series.
Personally i dont think it's the potion; that exacerbated his ego its the power of his skill. The potency of said potion may have increased the power he expells but that doesn't do much when the effect is over. On the other hand his increased power makes him drunk on his own skill. Everyone else drinking that potion is fine and not reliant on it. Even with the strength increase. This dude on the otherhand is a power-hungry narcissist who gets off on his own increasing power.

Kruz has said this chapter Rick warned her about how things will turn out when given the potion to Allen, so him giving Cruz a modified and harmful potion in preparation to this scenario is possibility. Remember the other alchemist already said Rick essentially developed a variant and more potent version of the Golden Potion and is what he's been giving them until now so developing a poisonous variant (or even a previous faulty prototype) is feasible. Then is up to Kruz's acting.
No, because that golden potion was intended for Kruz. Rick wouldn't shorter his own monsters life span. (... Though he might use them as ingredients in monster synthesis... Anyway, he definitely wouldn't lessen Kruz's lifespan).

Though it's possible that there are monster specific enhancements in the potion now.

You do have a point but here is a counter point. She's a (I think true) vampire. Her vitality could run on different rules then humans do. What could weaken our life she on the otherhand could be immune to it for her. Like for instance. I could get my arm cut off in a dungeon. I would need some level of magic to keep said arm or even recover. She on the otherhand can drink blood and instantly recover. Toxins probably can just be expelled through natural process of waste release.

(I understand that you're suggesting a scenario where Rick is a mega-genius and intentionally creates a poisoned golden potion with the intent of tricking Allen into drinking it.)

Yeah, but the table has been flipped several times by now. Rick had no idea ahead of time that Kruz would be stuck in a prison with Allen, where neither could kill the on each other. And Rick had no idea about the interparty warfare was incoming, and so didn't prepare for it.

The author has been making a point of Rick having to adjust on the fly to the situation repeatedly changing from his expectations. This is just another case of that. Rick and Kruz both stuck, but... she does have that golden potion... which probably will trigger Allen's ability... and thus bust them both out of the prison.

(Note that this move is still high risk, since it's very likely that a powered up Allen will attack Kruz. I think that Rick makes the best bet and relies on Kruz (who would hate being sidelined anyway). Besides, if Rick dies, the dungeon and all it's monsters (including Kruz) dies with him.

In short, Rick intentionally triggering Allen's ability is a super high risk move, with no benefit (known ahead of time). Also getting into a situation where Allen could be tricked into drinking it is crazy unlikely, and not one that could (reasonably) be foreseen ahead of time.

He's having his momentary high from taking the experimental golden drug from our Hojo MC.
I await the eventual collapse he will experience. Who knows, maybe the potion was altered to work for monsters but not for humans safely, and he's going to collapse from burning himself to death.

Not sure, no clue, let's figure out what they pull outta their asses.

No my point wasn't that Rick was some calculating super genius. Earlier chapters made it a point that Rick uses different ingredients to get a better golden potion. This is a potion that Allen has taken before. Its safe for consumption by humans. My point was that Rick may have made a better potion that provides the golden effect but isnt safe for human consumption. In fantasy what works for one doesn't always work for all. A Cleric divine light can heal you but can also do damage to undead (its a common trope).

My point will be better shown this way. Pokemon is a good example. Toxic orb (in this example is your Rick enhanced golden potion assuming the ones he made for monsters are different then when he gave it to Allen) makes the holder badly poisoned when held. Kruz and monster co. Are pokemon with poison heal ability or just poison type. Giving it to kruz and the other monsters might not hurt them. Giving it to Allen may hurt him since in this example he's a pokemon with the guts ability. In my example kruz and the monsters were always immune to the prevailing negative effect of the new potion; Allen wouldn't be.
