For me I just can't, characterisation and things like that are my reading crack so a series like this just ain't for me. I don't think it's the worst though but yeah I'm not gonna read something that doesn't appeal to me any further. Least the series made it past ch30 though for those that like it.
I think Luce is a pretty damn good character all things considered. Nine times out of ten female characters in isekai/fantasy are braindead love interests that fawn over the mc. Instead of being a sidekick, she plays a decisive role in every fight. Her luck and rng attacks make things a bit too convenient, but character-wise they're pretty strong. The art style enhances her reactions and design. She does has some trope-y reactions at times though. Also, the monsters in this are very creatively designed for the most part. The centipede and golem not so much, but others have been very unique.
Plot-wise, I agree. I'm bored with the loot raking and convenient fights. "I would have died if x didn't happen" "Normally we wouldn't be able to fight such a creature, but x ability makes it possible." "This drop is extremely unlikely, but we got it because of her luck" It's cheap writing. The mc described his class as being difficult in the beginning, but he's been much more powerful compared to his level since his first fights. I would have liked to see him struggle much more to progress while relying more on his knowledge than his abilities.
If the plot remains uncompelling, I may end up dropping it as well. I don't care for the mc as a character or the plot so far. I don't really know what the mc's goal even is. To get stronger? Why? He needs some motivation.
