There's the Deus Ex Machina Skill learning
People seem to confuse every single thing that goes well for the protagonists as a Deus Ex Machina, yet that only applies if things somehow, as if my miracle and divine intervention, conspire in order to make sure the protagonists either win or at least survive (with the opposite being called a Diabolus Ex Machina, which was what we just saw happen with the centipede).

This guy did not get the skill points by chance, nor did he "just happen" to attain a skill that miraculously helped him save the day; this guy has an almost enciclopedic knowledge of the game, so he already know what will happen and when, and also we HAVE been seeing him level up constantly through this entire dungeon, so it's not like the skill points came out of nowhere, he simply hadn't seen a need to spend them just yet.

Dunno if here's okay to point out typos, but on the page with the four example classes "magician" should be something more like "magic swordsman" (raw 魔剣士). Otherwise that's a pretty cool sword for a magician to use.

Somehow, I doubt the in-universe devs could overlook the combination of def-conversion skill with the def-focused class. For now, the same combo but with the stats of a Sword Saint leads to a similar atk value, so I'm guessing def scales up much more at later levels for it to be significantly overwhelming.

If it lower the defense to [0] and increase the attack by the same amount, it increases the attack by [0], which is the only amount in the sentence. maybe "it moves the defense points to the attack" or something else could be a better translation?

Relentless Vigor
Skill Type
: Buff (Active)
Cooldown: x
Mana Cost: Variable
Duration: N/A
Temporarily decrease your base DEF to 0, and increase your ATK equal to the amount of DEF lost. Continually uses x MP while active. Skill automatically ends once MP reaches 0. Re-click to deactivate skill early.

would probably be what it looks like on an in-game skill description lol

Making the damn thing attack its own weak point was clever, I'd admit. It's fast and strong, but pretty dumb.

All this buff and stat stacking kinda reminds me of the old way to play the Lord Knight class and the Berserk skill in Ragnarok Online, especially that atk increase and def=0 status skill.

atk rises to 277. did the author miscalculated it? 45+73= 118x2= 236. if you add the value from his gear, the numbers are even higher

This is stupid. I'd bet 70% of players in that game are heavy knights.
Probably. Because the game lets you have multiple. If the game had something like a hardcore mode, probably next to none will use it.

It’s just like in games like Path of Exile. Drastically different builds are made when you can revive versus when you only have one life.
