Celt has great skills to be a scout but I have to assume he act the way he does is probably from his bad experience from other parties he formed in the past. Not saying I condone his behavior in the previous chapters but it takes a lot for someone with his personality to own up to his mistakes & I can respect that. Thanks for the translations.

(Author's) Celt Logic: Hunters are basically support dps, but their skills give them the advantage of being able to get the kill shot much of the time. Therefore there are two options:
1. Consistently go for the kill shot (in which case everyone hates you). OR
2. Consistently forgo the kill shot (in which case you're viewed as a wimp).
Celt chose to go with first option, i.e. he chose to take the hate rather than be a wimp.

Problem is: The author's logic is stupid. Obviously Hunter's could instead take a fair amount of the kill shots, and thus be viewed as neither a wimp nor a jerk. Or better yet, get rid of the completely stupid "kill shot gets the loot" rule.

I like the author, and it's a fun story, but yeah, this particular logic is just dumb.

(Also, I was looking forward to Maybell trolling Celt hard care, but okay fine, it's cool that he's a more balanced character.

Also... Luce. Best Girl.

Cute. Effusive. Funny. Reliable. Comes back and saves your ass. Will talk back to your noble dad. And will threaten to cut the balls of misbehaving party members. 10/10. Damn.

Side Note: The Great Fortune Tree
is just a pure passive skill tree, and all it does is multiply base luck by a factor. At her current "Beckoning Kitty" passive level, it's 500% multiplier. Also... Luck is a hidden stat (doesn't show up on stat screens). Jesters in general tend to have higher base luck. But Luce's drop rate is so high that her base luck stat must have been unusually high even for a Jester. That's why her drops are so good that they even shock Elma. Also Great Fortune isn't a book skill tree, but instead a tree that a few classes (Jester, Merchant) are rarely born with.
