Not just that author doesnt know games. He doesnt seem to even grasp grade school math.

Killing 50 mobs they encountered at the start would net the same result. That would have been a no-brainer farm for anyone with an inch of intelligence.

Probably just exp mechanics from an older game require less to level up and have the this fucker gona kill you (higher level than you) exp bonus .
Not like newer games with over inflated numbers like ohh you need 1000 exp for level 2
