to be fair, most of the things she has fought against until now either die in the first hit, or only take 3 hits at most. Seeing something that got her full hit and only losing 1/7 hp can be shocking. But it's also necessary, she needs to know her limit and how strong monsters can be.

also that bird monster really looks like it crawled out from nightmare realm.

Well so far, her 6-Roll Strikes had always caused the Boss to either die in one hit, or atleast take out more than half it's HP.

In-comparison, while 1/7th HP is quite a good damage, but it is still small when fighting a boss, as that means she would have to 6-Roll Strike 7 times on that Boss Monster, which isn't easy (even pulling-off one 6-Roll Strike is hard, as it's like Dice Roll aka., complete random).
Not to forget, the 6-Roll Strikes is the strongest attack they have.

I don't think Luce's 6 dice hit is their strongest attack. What he did against the centipede boss was clearly stronger. However, that one needed a lot of setup and literally a finisher strike, he would be screwed had it not killed.

In addition, they were dragged into the fight while already low on mana/stam.
